Description
W. J. Harris was a well known photographer in the late 1800s and early 1900s. He had a studio in St Augustine, Florida and a floating studio on Lake Hoptacong, New Jersey. In 1911 he filed with the patent office for a printing machine that would print over 1500 pictures an hour. This image of two coal miners was taken in Scranton, PA.
