Product Details

Our luxuriously soft blankets are available in two different sizes and feature incredible artwork on the top surface. The bottom surface is white. Our 100% polyester blankets are available in two different styles: plush fleece and sherpa fleece. Plush fleece blankets are soft and fluffy on both sides, whereas sherpa blankets are smooth like a soft sweater on the artwork side (i.e. shorter threads) which provides for a sharper image. Looking for a recommendation? Go with a 60" x 80" plush fleece blanket. It's soft and luxurious on both sides... the artwork looks incredible... and the size is just right for everyone.

Artist's Description

SCADTA, was the world's second airline, and the first airline in the Americas, operating from 1919 until World War II.[1] After the war, SCADTA merged with Colombian regional carrier Colombian Air Service (Spanish: Servicio Areo Colombiano), or SACO. Together, SCADTA and SACO formed Avianca - Aerovas Nacionales de Colombia, the Colombian flag-carrier. After Avianca was purchased by Brazilian entrepreneur German Efromovich's company Sinergy in 2004, the name of the company was changed to Airline of the American Continent (Aerovas del Continente Americano) - Avianca). Avianca still operates to this day. Wikipedia This poster was created by Jeff Phillippi from several photos and Scadta memorabilia loaned to me by a local collector.

About Jeff Phillippi

Jeff Phillippi

Leaning against a tree, foot sore from endless walking through fields and fence rows, I rest, a shotgun cradled loosely in my arms. I've paused in a woodlot on the far side of my grandparent's farm. Dad is 40 yards to my left working his way through the timber with our dog. The air is cold, but the sun warms my face. It is quiet. I could take a nap right here. My mind begins to drift but something brings me back. Peeping and cooing noises slowly work into my consciousness along with the tick and scrape of leaves on the ground. The chaos of fall leaves, tree trunks and buck brush gives way to an orderly line of quail marching through the undercover in single file - bobbing their heads as they go. Less than 20 feet away the squad of...
